DR. VINEETH ERANNA
Batch 2007-09 – MD in Psychiatry
"I am Dr. Vineeth Eranna, an esteemed alum of MES Professor BRS PU College from the distinguished second batch spanning 2007 to 2009. Currently, I am a thriving Psychiatrist practicing and residing in Australia.
MES played a pivotal role in my educational journey, significantly enhancing my learning abilities through dedicated lecturers who not only recognized but also encouraged my potential, ultimately guiding me towards a career in medicine. My academic trajectory culminated in the attainment of an MD in Psychiatry from the prestigious NIMHANS, a premier national institute.
I owe a debt of gratitude to my educators at MES for their unwavering support, without which I wouldn't have reached the heights I stand at today. The impact of the formative years at MES continues to resonate in my professional life.
I maintain strong connections with my former lecturers and the institute, acknowledging the instrumental role they played in shaping my career path. In essence, MES has been a cornerstone in propelling and steering the trajectory of my life, both academically and professionally."

DR. VYSHALI
2007-09 Batch – Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology
"I feel blessed to have been a student of the esteemed MES instiution. I was lucky to be a student of Mrs.Ranaganayaki Rao who is a great Physics teacher. I have studied under Mrs.Sridevi, Mrs.Savitri, Mrs.Priya, Mrs.Swarnagowri, Mrs.Shanta, Shantraj Sir, Shyamsundar Sir and many others. The environment at the institute was so great that it pushed me beyond my capacity to achieve my true potential. The encouraging words of my teachers gave my confidence a boost and it reflected on my academics and on my overall personality as well. I have seen them uplift the confidence of every student. There was no discrimantion. No one was left behind. The ambience was very positive. Though PU is the 2 most important years, co-curricular activities were also encouraged. I got to explore and expand my unknown talents. I didnt imagine I would enjoy studying literature as much as the other subjects, but discovered love towards literature both English and Kannada under my able Language Teachers Mrs.Sarita and Mrs.Renukamba. I was able to excel in my CET and get into Medicine, and the reason would be the confidence put into me by my exemplory teachers.
I had an unfortunate event with my PUC results where I had scored well in all subjects but my Chemistry score was wrongfully reported to be a low of 34. It was a mis-entry. Those were the difficult 10 days, but my teachers had my back and supported. Mrs.Sridevi even took the efforts of coming to the PU department personally with me and sorting the scores out.
I got into medicine through CET. I studied MBBS in JJM Medical College,Davanagere. Later did my DGO from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, Kerala. I did my DNB in OBG from St.Martha’s Hospoital, Bengaluru. I am currently practicising Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a private Hospital. I aspire to become a Laporoscopic Surgeon.
When I look back into years, I would say those two years were the most important years and studying in MES was the best opportunity to have had. I would be eternally greatful to my Teachers and the Institute."

2007-09 Batch – Doctorate – University of Oxford, Oxford, UK
"As an alumnus of MES BR Subba Rao College Vidyaranyapura, from the 2007-2009 PUC batch, I find myself often reflecting on the foundational years that have significantly shaped my academic and professional journey. My time here was not just about preparing for exams; it was a holistic educational experience that fostered both personal and intellectual growth.
The college's commitment to excellence was evident in the quality of teaching. The wonderful teachers at MES BR Subba Rao College not only imparted knowledge but also inspired curiosity and a love for learning. Their personal attention ensured that every student felt valued and supported, creating an environment where we could thrive and excel. The faculty's dedication was particularly noticeable in their efforts to prepare us for competitive exams like the CET. Their well-structured training sessions were instrumental in equipping us with the skills and confidence needed to tackle these challenging entrance exams successfully.
However, what truly sets MES College apart is its emphasis on overall personal development. The curriculum and extracurricular activities were designed to nurture not just academic proficiency but also critical thinking, leadership, and social responsibility. This holistic approach to education instilled in me a strong foundation of values and skills that have been indispensable in my subsequent academic pursuits and career.
After completing my PUC at MES, I ventured into the field of Biotechnology at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, followed by a Master's in Biomedical Science in Barcelona, and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, UK. Today, as I contribute to the pharmaceutical industry and reside in Scotland, I attribute a significant part of my success to the solid educational grounding I received at MES College Vidyaranyapura.
In conclusion, my time at MES College Vidyaranyapura was transformative. It was not just an institution for academic learning but a nurturing ground for young minds to develop holistically. I am immensely grateful for the experiences and lessons learned during my years at MES, and I highly recommend it to students who seek an enriching and comprehensive educational journey."

Not all places are meant to say Goodbye.., Few places become our Home too..,
It was in the year 2007, when I got admitted to M.E.S B.R.S PU college which has been one of the best experiences I have had.
The best part of M.E.S is the structured academic focussed on practical education and many extracurricular activities.
The two years that I lived in here with amazing, knowledgeable and hardworking faculty and with my best friends for life is unforgettable.
It was here where I discovered my interest of becoming Neurologist. I cant thank enough for my favourite teachers for their immense support and advices beyond studies which helped to become not only successful neurologist but also good human.
They are part of my wonderful journey right from getting admitted to MBBS(through the knowledgable goal oriented coaching right from my 1st year PU), MD General Medicine, DM neurology at T.N.M.C and Nair Mumbai, DrNB at national Board of examination and to take part in various international and national Trials of neurology diseases.
MES and its family are with me for My achievements such as Torrent Young Scholar award - Neurology, Won best papers/poster/platform in various national conferences, published literature in national/international journals, member of Indian academy of neurology, Indian stroke association, Indian medical association etc.
My college gave me amalgamation of lifetime experiences to cherish.
Lastly, you might leave MES after exams but MES , and its family never leaves you."
